Photosynthesis and Respiration

      The photosynthesis is a process used by plants to convert light into energy to fuel the organism in every moment. Photosynthesis is important for the world because it is the responsible to producing and maintaining the oxygen at the Earth's atmosphere.

6CO2 + 6H2O ------> C6H12O6 + 6O2

CO2: carbon dioxide

H2O: water

Light energy is necessary
C6H12O6: glucose
O2: oxigen

The cellular respiration is a set of metabolic reactions that take place in the cells of organisms to convert energy from nutrients into adenosine triphosphate, ATP (the biochemical way to store and use energy).

C6H12O6 + 6O2 ------> 6CO2 + 6H2O + energy

The equation of these  two process are similar because both are necessary water, oxygen, carbon dioxide… and both of these reactions produce energy.
